Teach live One On One flight lessons on PointNine: students book one-hour sessions, you set your own availability, and you earn a fixed $50 for every completed lesson, paid out through Stripe after verification.

Who can teach on PointNine?

We onboard certificated flight instructors, not generic course creators. Your public profile shows ratings, flight hours, specializations, and open calendar slots so students can book with confidence.

  • Valid FAA pilot certificate (CPL or ATPL) with current medical
  • CFI, CFII, and/or MEI as applicable to the lessons you offer
  • Government-issued ID and a clear face photo for identity verification
  • Proof of total flight hours and copies of relevant certificates

Everything is submitted in one guided flow — no separate paper form.

    Legal name, contact, pilot certificate type, CFI/CFII/MEI, and medical class.

    Experience & aircraft
    Total hours, aircraft you teach in, and FAA certification labels.

    Document upload
    Secure upload of ID, photo, hour proofs, and certificate scans.

    PointNine review
    Our team verifies your credentials before your profile goes live.

    Payouts & availability
    Connect Stripe, set your calendar, and appear in the marketplace.

How much you earn

$50
per completed 1-hour lesson

PointNine pays instructors a fixed $50 for every completed one-hour lesson. Your payout is the same whether a student pays the single lesson rate or buys a discounted credit pack.

The platform sets all session and package prices and keeps them consistent across the marketplace, so promotions or price changes never reduce what you take home.
